I began working for a company after deciding I could no longer tolerate the inconsistent management and stress I experienced in Guyana. Upon returning to the United States, a friend helped me secure a position at a bread sales company. Joining the company was a timely move; it was on the brink of closure within a month. Not only did this opportunity help me overcome my low spirits, but it also allowed me to leverage my extensive customer interaction skills, honed since high school, proving my worth and reliability. However, I eventually left the job due to unfair practices regarding the work environment, especially during the pandemic. Following the pandemic, I resumed working with my family until I fell ill.
